I need to clean out my engine in my 92 DB:rockon:. It has 143k miles and hasn’t been on the road since before the winter came. (3.5 months)
How do i properly sea-foam?
Pictures of where to pour bottle would be appreciated

read the directions they say it goes on the gas tank
i hear running through brake booster line is the way 2 go???
Put half of it through the brake booster line, and the other half in the gas tank.
I’ve done seafoam to my da. been running flawlessly since. I split the seafoam into 3 parts. (get 3 of the same bottle to make it exact 1/3’s.) Then i threw each bottle into the gas tank, brake booster line, and the crank case.
Now before you do any of these, make sure your car is warmed up. And to put the seafoam in the line, I just disconnected the line where its closest to the intake manifold. and then i just carefully poured it in (remember! PATIENCE!) and then let it sit for a good 5-10 mins. and then when you crank over, dont let go of that key until it turns on. and pump the gas a lil bit to help it fire up. if you let go of the key, it wont start and then you’ll have to let it sit for another few minutes. xD and that’s just about it. Oh and don’t run it past 5k rpm. I just wouldn’t recommend it.
AND also don’t forget to do the oil change after you’re done with the seafoam treatment. Your oil turns into water when in the crank case. So when you buy the seafoam, get the oil and filter. lol!
do you guys have a pic of the brake booster line?
Why do you need a pic? It’s the hose coming from your brake booster to your intake manifold.
IIRC, the bottle said to let the car idle and put the vacuum hose into the bottle and let it suck up the seafoam. You might have to dip it in and out to keep the car from stalling. And then I read either here or possibly on the bottle that once it sucks up about half, leave the hose in until the car stalls. Then dump the other half of the bottle into your gas tank.
It’s been a long time since I’ve done this so I might be a little off, but I am pretty sure that’s how I did it. I don’t remember where I picked up the steps though, either on here or from the bottle. Possibly a combination of sources. Once I did it and took the car out for a little run, it ran smoother for me until I sold it.
I used a vacuum line like above and just let it suck it in and then when it starts to die cover the vacuum port on the manifold and rev the motor to clean everything up and repeat.

This is the correct way to do it. 1/3 in BB, 1/3 in gas tank, 1/3 in crank case then change oil. The instructions are on the bottle.
It really is that easy and works like a hot damn.
P.S. I also like to buy a can of Deep Creep (Seafoam in a spray can) Remove the air intake, open the butterfly flap in the throttle body, and spray it thoroughly in there. This helps A LOT.
try to find vacuum line the closer to the throttle body the better. for you can get it everywhere in the intake…
why dont you guys spray it directly into throttle body while rev the engine from stalling, make it work just like carb cleaner, doing this you can clean the entire inake including tb, if you want you can spray some to all the vaccum lines to clean them
