the driver’s side automatic seat belt is broken. does anyone know where i can get a new motor for it. or if its possible to fix it. or if i can switch the one on the passenger’s and the driver’s. im tired of having to do it. and i want the automatic one! hahahahh.
any suggestons?
Theres a lifetime warranty on the seatbelts. Go to your local Acura dealership they should fix it for free

all cars with power seat belts is lifetime warranty, thats if its clean title though. mine is salvage on driver side and now driver side belt is out. acura dealer saids they dont cover salvage cars.
Funny,my dealer said the warranty was just on the belt.Also he said it was a door switch most likely.
I have the same problem intermittently… There is supposed to be a relay somewhere under the passenger side kick panel with 4 terminals (two for the passenger side and the other two for the driver’s side)… I have yet to be able to find it tho… if anyone happens to have a picture, that would be fantastic… anything pertaining to seatbelts seems to be conveniently left out of the Haynes manual…
I took my door switch off and sprayed a bunch of Deoxit in it… it seemed to work fine until we had a couple of hot days, then the seatbelt went back to not working which leads me to think that it’s a relay problem…
