Are 2door and 4door front seats the same in a DA?
bump
Yes.
Thanks.
IIRC they are not, I belive there is a slight difference in the floor pan of the car which make the mounting brackets different.
Part numbers for the seat sliders are different which leads me to believe that even more…
Fail on my part for not checking the slider part number…
Passenger Seat Bottom; Same between Sedan and Coupe.
Passenger Seat Back; Same between Sedan and Coupe.
Passenger Seat Rails; Same between Sedan and Coupe.
Driver Seat Bottom; Same between Sedan and Coupe.
Driver Seat Back; Same between Sedan and Coupe.
Driver Seat Rails; Different for Sedan and Coupe.
nope they are not
I have a 4dr db front driver seat and I could only get the two front bolts in, the other rear bolts are off center by 1/2". Theres no way you can bend the rail or frame to make it work otherwise the slider wont let the seat to slide freely.
on the other hand you can still use it with the front bolts only if you dont mind the rear tilt when braking hard, you cant really notice but it doesnt stop bothering me to know…
thanks, I almost bought a set of 4door seats for my 2 door rs, that saves me some hassle. I’ll keep looking.
yo can take are seats apart so much backs seats all that shiz, but yea the floors are the only diff so it throws the brackets off
Very interesting…I installed DA9 front seats in a DB1 and everything lined up. Anyhoo, If it’s a good deal on the seats, you can always swap the brackets…

not sure how that happened but you are correct about just switching the bracket. but at that point it might just be easier to swap seat covers and bolster material from the good seat…
