i have some momos that i am going to have redone when i get the money but they have some holes for now i came across these patches but they are in japan and i cant figure out how to get them, can someone please help
my boss was flown to colorado for a cloth/vinyl repair shop…he taught us some stuff. they have kits you can buy in the U.S…but it will never match the exact color…“you can’t replicate stains, wear/tear/fading.” You will still be able to visibly see where you patched it up, but it’s better than a cig burn in ur seat.
well i have big rips, i dont car if it matches anything is better than these holes, im living in cali right now but originally from oklahoma i have a guy back in oklahoma that is going to redo them for a very good price i am just tryin to get something to cover it so they dont rip anymore, and those patches would work great, my seats look like the ripped one
seat covers, that would look rediculus plus i have harnesses now an no stock seat belts so i would have to like cut holes in the covers, stock seats are a dime a dozen, but i like my momos, they can tear all they want im getting them redone soon i just want a temp fix an these patches the have would do it, as for the shop i will check the name
here’s what i did to my stock seats. usual drivers side bolster tear from getting in and out. foam was barely worn though. cut a piece of black cloth or whatever color you want to fit over the rip and i got this awesome glue at walmart, its called liquid stitch. put the glue all around the rip and put on the cloth over it. I was thinking there is no way this is gonna last but its been about 6 months of getting in and out of it everyday and its still on there like the day i did it. just trim off all the excess and make sure the edges are glued down so it doesn’t start to lift it up from wear again. looks like shit but works awesome. oh i did this cause everytime i got in or out you could see some of the foam come off and lay on the seat and crap so i figured i needed to fix it asap before i wore away all the foam. can’t believe it worked!
Or you can do what I did if you have the usual driver side rip. Find a passenger seat in good condition and just remove the stock cover from the passenger seat and put it on your driver side seat.
