Hey Ever since I rubbed a curb cause the roads iced my seatbelt chimes when I start it up. The funny thing is that it doesn’t chime until I lean foward in the seat. It still retracts and everything, but it won’t lock up. For a sec it did. I replaced the door switch so now it detects the door open properly, but still no change in the seat belt. I can lean back the whole time I drive but then as soon as I lean foward it beeps. I’m confused on what exactly to ck. I’ve ckd the forums and haven’t found exactly what I should ck cause I haven’t seen anyone else with the problem. I don’t think I have a solid seatbelt light, but hell my cluster light could be out. Help me please.lol
man, no one has any idea? Where is the sensor for the moving seatbelt?
I have the Same issue I shove a skinny screwdriver in the track and it comes back almost all the way and I have to manually do it the rest of the way then wiggle it into place and ends up locking into place making the chyme go away
Seatbelts have A lifetime warranty. Call acura
i actually went to acura about that. my seat belt was stuck forward and it beeped all day long!!! they replaced the motor and railing and it still was stuck forward so they bypassed the switch and now its stuck in the retracted position and i have to manually unbuckle it. they said the problem is the door latch. its bad and its not telling the comp that the door is closed. and that part is discontinuedm now!!! so wrecking yard is where i have to go to get it. im on the verge of doing that so ill let you know the results
Did replacing door latch help??
