seatbelt wont move…it will go back into normal postion when u open d door but when you close the door it supposed to automatically secure you but it doesnt move at all what do i check here???
Dude I had the same problem, some connection was bad but I never found it. It just started working again when the weather got cooler.
The dealer wanted a lot of money to fix it and I tried to tell them all parts of the seatbelt or under a lifetime warranty but they said only the belt it self was. I think that is BS. You should try to get them to fix it for you for free. If you have your car manuel it even says in one section that the seatbelts are under full warrenty. I didn’t complain because shorty after it started working by itself.
thanks for the help, ill be checking the fuses first and maybe it will work
happened to me when i was home for the weekend in orange county cali… it just didnt go back to the seat… a week later it worked…
its a pain in the ass to see out your right mirror if the seat belt is there… lolol
If it is stuck in the open position, there is an access panel just behind each door. Open these panels and you will find a place to hand-crank the seatbelt to its locked position. The tool wrap ( in the spare tire area) has a little round hand crank for this.
My seatbelts are messed up to…they work properly most of the time, but sometimes when you stop to quick and the belts lock, they dont unlock so when you turn the car off and the seatbelts go up they dont quite reach the curve to go back down so it practically strangles you, and its a pain in the arse to try and reach the emergency release when its holding your shoulders in place!
I just grab the recline lever when that happens.
lol, im dumb, I’ve never thought about the recline lever! Thats a wonderful idea!
