So I tried taking my car to the dealer today and have my seatbelts fixed but they were no help. So I need to see if anyone else can help me. The problem is that the seatbelt wont go back or forth when you open the door. The drivers seatbelt is stuck in the forward position and the pass side is stuck in the rear position. The seatbelt by the Ecu beeps all the time and the seatbelt light blinks all the time. Ive checked the connectors on the seatbelts, under the seat, replaced the computer and replaced the seatbelt tracks with known working ones. Anyone know of any other connectors or related seatbelt commponents. Any help will be gratefull. Also my car is a 91 rs and the seats are from a 93 gs with leather. Anyone know if the wires of the connectors under the seat have diffrent placements? Thanxx
u got jipped at the dealer. u need to take that thing back there and demand that they fix it. if u wanna lock the seatbelt into place… then u need to adjust that one allen screw/bolt whatever thing thats at ur door pillar. basically to the left of ur seat. there is a lil plastic plug covering up the hole to access it.
this is something u should’ve found had u searched but there u go.
lol squeeze. I just remembered that is in the teg tips i think. I remember reading about that. I was just not thinking because of that stupid dealers response. Thanxx man. Once again you come thru.
well the dealers are retarded monkey ducks… lifetime means lifetime… i’d take it back. to save a trip… u could call the honda number (customer service) and get the service tsb number or whatever is necessary for them to HAVE TO fix ur car. cuz the only thing not covered sometimes is electrical wiring issues. but if all the wiring is ok, but the electrical components are failing… then that is covered.
