Seattle headlight conversion

I’m doing my type R headlight conversion does anyone know if it will be a direct bolt on or will I have to cut the fenders and fit it to the bumper?Or even better does anyone know if there’s anyone in the seattle area that does that kinda work professionally?

what do you mean, are you putting 3g JDM type R headlights on a g2 or what? i’m just not sure what you’re doing here.

Ryan (4drb16) had that conversion done to his teg in Seattle and it didnt go well. Nothing really lines up very well and it doesnt look very good when you see it up close.
That front end just wasnt made for the g2…

BR is right. i saw some pics of how far ryan got, and it was too much work for what it’s worth… so he decided to do the smarter thing with his money (IMO) and put that money into his infamous 4dr g2 turbo monster…

I definately agree about the turbo thats gotta come but I’d really like to get that headight conversion done, I haven’t seen too many tight integra’s done like that. The Type R headlights I have are the black housing 94-01 JDM Type R headlights pics can be found on import fan if your still lost.Theres a place in seattle called PPI that I heard was the best at headlight conversions what do you think I’d pay for something like that?

That is not right. PPI is not a body shop by any means. It is an import performance shop, in other words they just sell aftermarket parts and do installs and swaps. I know Charles (the owner) and go in there occasionally to talk to him and shiz.
They might be able to get you the parts, maybe. But they wouldnt be doing the work.

hey are you sure about that one because my friend just got his IS300 body kit done by either them or friends, either way I’m suppose to drop my car off out around that way so they could do my Blitz kit.Are there any shops that do conversions well in seattle that you know of or should I ask charles?

i would ask charles. not many (actually none that i know of) of the seattle g2ic guys are into kits and headlight/taillight conversions so we don’t have much experience with shops doing them.

He probably bought the kit and had them put it on but they dont have a paint/bodyshop that they can do everything with. I dont know what body shop they use…
JR (g2goin4show) works at a body shop right down the street from PPI though. They do some awesome work. They did his car and it is one of the cleanest g2’s on the board. I would recommend his shop to anyone around here.

all jdm 3gs have one pieces (except maybe a few early ones) have one pieces, not just type Rs. there is a thread on superhonda about converting the headlights on a g2 to those…
