So Nino and Brett aren’t going to make it, Marc from BC looks like he’s not signed up, Justin and Rit aren’t signed up… am I the only G2 going to the Seattle NT?!
Wow, only 7 people in STS. That’s gotta be a record. Good luck this weekend Scott and don’t forget to have fun.

Great start!? Looks like you can take the GTI. Go get him and good luck on Sunday.
Have you talked to Kevin? How are his brakes? He was complaining of them last time I talked to him. Looks like they are still not helping his time[enter sarcasm here].
whats this seattle NT? I just moved here, so dont know what you guys do, if it’s not to late i’ll sign up
out of 8 total runs on the weekend, which includes a re-run each day, i had…wait for this…here it comes…
2 fucking clean runs.
shocks are completely blown. i kept hitting cones on slaloms.
but here’s the good news. i was within two seconds of McCormick both days.
first: McCormick. no surprise
second: Jeff Graham. A local with a 2.5RS and a VERY heavy right foot. He was about a half second off McCormick on Saturday, but couldn’t get a good clean run in Sunday
third: Shane Jensen in his stock GTI. stock the car is set up well. he’s very consistant, the number 1 reason he took 3rd this weekend.
fourth: Nick Ruiz in his Focus Zx2. his first NT, only his second season in a really under-prepped car.
fifth: me (i think). i was too pissed to even look at the final results. i had scratch times to seal 3rd by a mile, but i couldn’t get the car settled in slaloms.
sixth or seventh: dominic stone in his celica GTS. don’t know too much about the car or the driver. really nice guy though
sixth or seventh: adam ruff in his 2.5RS. well prepped car, rookie driver.
so, nino… could you please give me brett’s email or phone number? i’d like to contact him about shocks. i’ve got to buy new ones, but i want to keep the set under 900. here’s my options:
Tokicos: send back my blown tokicos for warranty work, then buy the GC tophats. cheapest option, but the shocks will still suck.
OTS Konis: good shocks, but pricey. still need the GC tophats
revalved/shortened double adjustable konis: excellent shocks, too much money.
bilsteins: :giggle: a very good driver on 89-91 bilsteins clued me in on who to talk to.
Sorry bro. Blown shock are ot a good help that is a given.
If your going with a “built” shock, when I was looking I found
tripoint. They are really not that bad. You give them the springrate you want and they build them to that rate. Ithink the only draw back is they use 2.25 in. springs.
Good luck!!
I made a phone call today and provided I can find the donor shocks, I’ll be in business.
