secondary relay?

just a question out of curiosity

there is some kind of secondary relay bolted to the MFR in my integra

whats it for? is it tied into the MFR or does it control another system? i wasnt sure so i grabbed one when i yanked a MFR the other day out of a junker

I believe the one in front of the “PGM-FI Main Relay”, [MFR] in a G2 is the signal light/hazard light flasher relay.

The PGM-FI Main Relay is made up of two relays, the fuel pump relay and the injector relay, they are both inside the one casing.:whisper: 94

cool thanks, guess i dont need it after all

haha true, i seem to have a tendency to do that lately as well, i’ll probably stuff it in my glovebox for a rainyday

hmm thats what it is

hey anyone have a description of where the main fuel relay is or a picture … ive been having the problem of not starting sometimes and ive told myself its nomal because my other integra did it to  ( pretty dumb eh ) well any is there a way to fix / replace it or somthing … thanks

The PGM-FI Main Relay can sometimes be repaired, I repaired the one in my sisters Civic the other day.

You can “slide” the cover off the relay housing and circuit board, then re-solder all the connections on the board, “cold solder joints”, [poor solder connections] are a common problem on the PGM-FI Main Relay.:whisper:94
