i was wondering if a DB1 (90-93 sedan) rear bumper support is the same as a DA one? the one i took out from my teg was in pretty bad shape and its hard to find DB1 part outs… thanks for the help
Hey man, Im tryin to figure out how to take the bumper off without trying it. Im wondering if there are any tricks to it that I should know of before I start. Also, there are a LOT of dbs in the junk yards around here. Im going tomorrow to get a full rear bumper tomorrow from a junk yard. YAY!

dark db1, are you absolutely sure that the 4dr and 2dr rear supports are the same? i have a jdm 4 door rear bumper and support on my 2dr car in my garage. i really want to know if a 2dr cover is all i need. can you confirm this?
i thought the hatch rear bumpers didnt fit 4 doors? like it was more curvy or something.
its a matter of length. the rear body of the four door car is longer, but i think the bumper is overall in the same place. i have a 4dr bumper on my 2dr and the fenderwell area lines up but the place on the bumper that should line up with the rear body of the car is an inch and a half out. im actively looking for a replacement. the exhaust tip seems to be in about the same place… thats why i say this… i am in the process of buying a replacement now and can verify for sure soon.
i got the two door bumper in today, im going to swap the jdm 4dr rear support in it tomorrow and see what happens. ill take pics then and we will all know for sure.
will a sedan bumper cover fit on a hatch? i have looked all over the place for one, but can only find one for a sedan.
No… One of the bumper covers are longer then the other, Cant remember which one it was though.
this is absolute positive confirmation, the 4 door rear bumper supports only work with the 4 door rear bumpers. i tried to put the jdm 4 door rear bumper support in the new 2 door cover on my 2 door car. it did not fit. i always wanted to know and now i do. i will be reinstalling the usdm 2 door support on the new bumper and putting it on the car unless i find a 2 door jdm bumper :(.
Huh… They looked the same to me on a side by side comparison. Maybe i didnt look close enough…
