Seized Brake Line Fitting

I put in a fresh pair of brembo blanks today and figured I’d throw in some Goodridge SS brake lines. But, the fitting at the opposite end of the caliper is being a little rusty bitch. It will strip with a standard wrench, and I can’t get a 6 pt around it. Penetrating oil doesn’t seem to be doing much penetrating. Normally I would break off and replace the nut, but this time it’s on a pipe fitting. Any thoughts?

Tom

stay up late and look for the infomercial with the GATOR GRIP socket thingy tool… =)… you mean the banjo fitting is damaged?

Time to bust out some ViceGrips. Are you talking about the fitting that attaches to the car or to the caliper?
