I just got done putting my skunk 2 springs on the rear with 5 way illumina’s. And there’s still a half finger gap and the rear shocks are on 1 to help settle. How long will it take for the springs to settle and when could i get an alignment? The drop should be more then that in the rear I measured it an browsed through pics. The rear should be flush after settling will it drop that little bit to become pretty much flush? Should I drive around on 1 all around for around 2 weeks or somthing?:sipread:

Don’t the skunk2 springs come with coilover sleeves? Well, my car came with sleeves when I bought it anyway…
For time to settle, here is a quote from a H-T post:
“Step 10 Some amount of settling is normal in springs, so allow between 4mm - 5mm of settling to occur during the course of driving. Depending on driving habits, settling can take from a few days up to a month or more.”
Did you get the springs that are about 400-500 lbs/inch?
i didnt get the skunk 2 coils just the springs.
I was told it takes 2 weeks to fully settle! So should drop some!
