Ok when i floor it or give it a bunch of gas my car shakes- not a whole lot, but its very noticable i was thinking a few things:
Balence Tires
Align Tires
& Motor Mounts
Ne one got ne suggestions (BTW i lowered it 2.5in with Tokico Adj Struts and i havent aligned it since i lowered it…i know i know i want to get a camber kit first - and at like crusing speeds at 110-120 it dosent realy shake at all)
neone got ne ideas?
maybe motor mounts… mine seems to do once in a while… I also get a squeaking sound when the engine is revved a little… (probably a bad mount which is loose a little and squeaking, didn’t had time to check it)
well mine squeeks usualy when i start it up after sitting all night when its warming up at 1500 it squeeks then when i go and its at normal rpms(1000) it stops and when im driving it stops but sometimes when i down shift it will squeak for like a second or so???
but i didnt notic that untill i replaced alternater so i was thinking it was the alt. belt
I had the same problem. The car didn’t shake a ton, but you could deffinatly feel it in the pedals. I had a bolt !!! missing from the rear tranny mount. Also the front mount was bad. Allong with the shaking, the car idle’d rough.
Once I replaced that motor mount and put the bolt!!! back in, it ran like a dream.
ocbeta: was the replacement of the front mount difficult? What has to be done?
I had this problem too when i swapped some mags over myself i put the front onto rear and rear onto front without balancing, drove for a few days and it was so annoying!, try balancing, it fixed mine…
It is just brut force. it is in an semi-easy spot.

like the squeaking i think is deffently alternater belt as it only last a few min or seconds like if im in netural and rev it a bit the squakes faster and higher pitch then if it was at idle. and after a while it goes away and i found like fine grains of rubber on the alternater so obviously its rubbing somewhere…
my car dosent shake at idle…just like when i floor it i hope its not motor mounts as i have no idea how to change one…

I bought the mount from Acura (the only ones that make it) for like $40, I am sure most shops will install it for about $35-60 check around, Also you need to check what mount is giving you the trouble. Put you car in gear, and put the e-brake on. When you slowly let off the clutch you will see your engine move under the load. Do this until you see where most of the movement is happening. Also check to see if your gear shifter is moving at all. That is also another symptom I have seen. If you are siting there cruising, and then floor it, your gear shifter will move a lot more than it is supposed to. (it isn’t supposed to move :D)
I had all of these symptoms really bad since my rear motor mount wasn’t even bolted on !!!
