Anyone have shaved door handles? if so how well are your poppers, whered you get them, and how are the shaved handles holding up from rust and everything? I live in NY and we use salt on the raods in the winter, and you know that Salt eats cars.
I would just use solenoids from a starter off of an american car, mounted from a key switch. That way, no one will be able to use another remote to open the doors…

 Why don’t you just post the info here, so that when someone asks this question again, they won’t have to email you.
Hmm Waats… that’s a good point!
GROCERY LIST:
-length of steel cable w/matching sheath (like bicycle brake lines)
-fasteners to lock the ends of the cables into loops
-terminal spade tags (fasteners for the solenoid)
-fuse holders
steel plates to hold the solenoids (plate w/a bend and a hole in it)
-an electric key switch (NOT an ignition switch)
-solenoid(s)
(earlier I said american starting solenoids work good, but old 6-volt VW starting solenoids are CHEAPER and work JUST as well)
-push button switches
-couple yards of eletrical wire.
INSTALLATION
1: Remove your door panel (locating door latch)
2.Locate place to mount solenoid (check for window clearance)
3.Attach a length of steel cable to the pulling rod on the solenoid
4.Attach the other end of the steel cable to door latch AFTER cutting sheeth to exact length (keeping in mind it will need to retract to get the door open)
WIRING
There’s alot of ways to wire it up, but the easiest way is straight through the battery (ya know… like if you were hooking up a sub?)
1.THE FIRST THING IN THE LINE MUST BE THE FUSE!
Which I would also recommend hiding under the inner fender well, so that way if your doors don’t work you can check the fuse from outside the car (if you are in the car when the fuse goes out your going out either the window or the hatch)
2.The second thing in the line should be the key switch
3. after that a split, going to one door button and then the other (one inside, one outside) It is possible to run just one button and have the door be operated outside on the key switch, but it’s easier if there is a button (I have a 91 RS, and right now I am considering pulling one of the fake “defroster/foglight/hazard” buttons to mount the door swith under that).
I put my button in my inner fender wells, and I hid my key switch in between the plate lights on the rear.
I am sure I forgot to say something BLATANTLY obvious about the set-up, so just call me on it and I will re-post to clarify (sorry in advance)…

i dont’ know about you, but i don’t think people who shave their EXTERIOR handles have a problem getting out of the car from the inside…i’m pretty sure there’s a handle in there.

Yep, you are right. The integra has separate latches for the inside and outside handles (the last few cars I’ve done them on only had ONE shared latch).
So…
I guess just make sure you hook it up to the right latch!
