she cranks again!!

well it was either a bad starter ground or the absolutely horrible connections someone made when they installed a new radiator and fan assembly from a 92 integra… the wiring is just slightly different but someone apparently had no clue what they were doing… anyway, its still not starting and im guessing that i just need to replace the fuel relay or fuel pump (prolly the relay)

hmm before u replace it check if its bad. just listen for that hissss sound near the gas door. if u are getting fuel then check for spark. maybe ur ignitor or coil.

shes running great…its the fuel relay thats bad…i changed it the other day with a used one, but it was bad also…mine old one was in the cool basement and i put that one back in just now and she started right up!!! that just shows how sensitive to heat those things become after a lot of miles!! buying a new one from the dealer tomorrow.

now im still having problems with my lighting… if i turn on the headlights the engine trys to cut out, if i turn on the driving lights the temp guage is still going up high, the brake lights are not working, and the horn makes all the dash lights go dim along with the clock

any ideas?

lmao chipper you got a handfull good luck my man  :burnout:

Just a suggestion before replacing the relay; you mentioned you just replaced the radiator, did you replace the thermostat as well, or mess with the thermostat housing? There is a rather critical engine ground on the thermostat housing that when loose can cause problems like the fuel relay not working. Might want to check to make sure the ground isn’t loose before buying a new relay if you’ve messed with the housing while changing the radiator. It sounds like you have your share of electrical problems, good luck with them all
