shift change rod broke!

A couple months ago I bought a 1992 'teg DB1 with a B16a1, and I love it to pieces… Though its given me a lot of trouble… Last thing that’s gone wrong is my change rod broke where it connects to the shifter… I rigged something together with mending plates and u-bolts just so i can get it home (and it worked!!). I’ve looked into buying a new one from acuraOEMparts.com but it looks as if it has been discontinued (part number# 54201-SK7-902).

I found on a couple other forums that any honda/acura with a b-series motor will have the same change rod/shift linkage. So I searched for a shift rod for a newer integra on the same site (part number# 54201-ST7-G00) and it seems to be something and i can still order. But will it fit? I have searched for answers and get some relatively mixed reviews. Any help and wisdom will be greatly appreciated!!

Don’t you have a junkyard near where you are? Shouldn’t be hard to find that piece.

there is a lot of junkyards, in all of them, only one DA/DB and its auto. i did find a DC but its so mangled and picked apart I just left it for the time being. And since i don’t know for certain whether or not a DC linkage will fit, I’d hate to have to fuss with it and it not fit. Also, being winter time(in Canada), I would so much rather just have a part readily available that I can install indoors.

They will interchange i have a dc linkage in my 90 teg

You’re awesome dudes, thanks for the quick replies!!
