shift knob discrepancy

this is weird… i bought this knob… from a teg owner, I’ve seen it on a teg, and yet, the hole is different from my old MOMO knob in the way that the hole inside of it is smaller. I figured the guy had used it once and it would work on a teg. What’s the deal here? Is there some type of an adapter that would screw on and then make a smaller post to fit that? I’m kinda bummed, just bought the thing.

what the hell…

hello. . … . . any idea why MOMO’s “universal” shift knob doesn’t go onto the post… i’m talking about the little hole inside people…

help

It has a small rubber “insert” that goes inside. Momo includes like 4 different sizes for different cars. Use a pair of tweezers or needle nose pliers to pull it out.
