So I’m doing an auto to manual swap on my DA and I’m in the process of getting all the parts I need. I recently got the shift linkage but when I look at the parts diagram, it looks like I’m missing one piece from it. From the diagram it says its the Change Lever Boot (54108-SB2-000). So my question is, will I be needing that part as well? I’m attaching the picture of the diagram so you guys could see it, it’s number 6 on there. Thanks for your help
i think just to be safe you should just go ahead and get EVERYTHING…
you reallly don’t it. it’s design to prevent dirt and dust from getting into ur center console.
trust me you want that boot, exhaust smoke will go in the cabin if you have a leak.
that boots not gonna do much hes doin a auto to manual swap so hes gonna have a big ass hole he needs to cover first. heres a pic of mine before the swap. you should fab something to make the hole smaller then if you want get the boot.
