~~~ Shift Linkage Pin?
Just wondering if anybody has any tips on how to get that pressed sucker out of the shift linkage where it meets the tranny. TIA
Problem solved.
I used a 4mm deep socket with a straight allen bit in the socket used as a guide. Hammered the poo out of it and voila.
After you remove the retaining clip spray WD40 on the pin. Let the WD40 soak in and use a punch with a hammer. I started with a small punch and after the pin went up a little bit I switched to a larger punch. Don’t loose the pin, mine went flying. I was lucky that I was working on the car in the garage.
