Shifter question

I’m looking to buy a B and M short shifter. My buddy has one on his 00 civic but it feels real loose in neutral. The shifts are tight and all but I was curious to see if I need to buy the shift stabilizer kit or just get different rod linkage bushings. Thanks for any info.

Just get the shift stabilizer bushings when you get your shifter. There are two bushings in the set and they cost $10-15 for the set.
