Shims Pad

Wsup G2IC,

I’m doing a full rear brake job on my DA. I bought some stainless steel brake lines, New Hardware such as spring pads and retainers. Also I just bought NISSIN brakes but it did not come with Shim Pad (Inner) and (outer). I noticed that the OEM brakes pads come with the shim pads but is it necessary to have the shim pads?

Shim Pads: Numbers 49 and 50.

It’s not required to have them. Most aftermarket pads don’t have them.
