i just got my short ram today, i have all the hardware and i know that i have to get a t joint for the tubes that go into the intake, but i was wondering where the bracket that holds up the intake goes? i have one straight bracket with 3 holes in it, and on L bracket with only one hole in it. does the L bracket fit under the clamp that holds on the filter to the tube?? then does that other bracket bolt to that and then to the fender or something?
well, my intake only came w/ one bracket. It had one “L” shaped end to it. The L slid under the hose clamp that holds the filter on. the other end of the bracket has to be bent. I bent it in order ot allow it to be bolted down where the stock air box bolts down.

if i just slid the L bracket under the clamp, and bend the other end it will match up with the airbox bolt?
Ya i should, but you will find a little tuff at first to line it up. But all you basically got to do is bend that bracket. It bends pretty easy.
