The problem isn’t too severe, but it is mighty annoying.
Was doing the led swap for gauges and climate cotrol, done some fucking up and shorted two wires I shouldn’t have (obviously). THis happened at the instrument panel dimmer. Shorted two out of the three that lead to the switch, adjacent. One black (middle) and one outside red.
I am not sure if it is with the black striping or not. Disregard the picture there.
Here is what broke and is not working that I can detect:
-All the leds (instrument panel backlight)
-Reminder to shut off headlights (bell)
Second picture is stolen from Acura’s parts center. Help me point out what I might need to fix. I got it from the local dealer’s website.
This is what I entered to get the picture: 1993 Integra LS 4AT KA Black. Under electrical, please point to a different picture if I am mistaken which part may be broken.
At least please suggest a process and what I should do next.
This sucks.
Thanks for your time in advance.
EDIT1: Taillights are out, I remember seeing a thread about this. Searching now.
EDIT2: I have a car alarm. When it is set off, all backlight everything works, the bell rings that my headlights are flashing and my taillights are also flashing. But as soon as it is disengaged, my taillights dont work (brake lights are fine) and even though front lights are fine, the backlight wont work. Neither does the bell to remind me that headlights are one when the car isnt running and the door opens.
