Si Blue or Frost White?

These are the two colors I would like to paint my car, just cant decide…all opinions welcome!

i’d keep it whatever color it is right now. Personally unless my car was black to begin with i wouldn’t be able to handle having my car one color and the engine bay another (black engine bays in a different colored car i can handle).

but between those two color choices…hands down Frost White IMO. But for me i’d be choosing between Captiva Blue and Frost White…that’d be tougher decision.

The thing is I am getting a swap here soon and I am going to have my enigne bay painted while the engine is yanked. Thanks for the input!

What about championship white (Type R)??

My g2 is Frost White so my vote is for SI blue…just kidding, Frost IMO.

go with the white. it is so easy to make a white car look different from the rest. howmany si blue hondas and acuras have you seen???:bored:

IMO EPB is WAY played out, everyone who wants blue gets it.

Frost white you can get away wiht a cheaper paint job…but blue, u gotta start paying money for good bodywork so the paint comes out straight.

not frost white…anything but frost white

how about pearl white, my rex is pearl white and its sweet

thanks 91integGS:werd: :werd:

my car was frost white and I painted it electron blue pearl, the white engine bay looks ok. pics are at

Im not positive but Id say there are way more people with white G2s than the Si blue on this board.

chet, you got it a little mixed up. see how he said “hondas and acuras” not specifically G2’s. Of course there are way more people with frost white tegs here…its a stock color. but of colors people choose when repainting their cars (speaking hondas/acuras in general) EPB is one of the most common choices. I know i see them all the time down here. And personally i think captiva blue is way better anyway.

I am willing to bet the number of hondas and acuras that are white far outweight the number of electron blue ones or whatever you want to call it. Also you were saying paint it white because there are other kinds of cars that are blue, even though even though there’s tons of white g2s

i’m sure you are right that there are more frost white hondas/acuras than there are EPB (electron pearl blue) ones. we are not disputing that. Its just white is not something you look at as being necessarily different, if you see a white teg its most likely the stock color. if you see any non SI honda/acura that is EPB you know that its an aftermarket paint job…i see it all the time. I guess we just sort of have different ideas about what we thinks is more original and less trendy. By painting your car white you’re not saying anything out of the ordinary, its just white, it looks stock. If you paint it EPB then its different, you’re sort of showing off a new face to the car, its no longer original looking imo. I’d much rather have my car be a stock white and have it look ordinary opposed to having it EPB which to me just seems like a more “trendy” “hot” color to paint your honda/acura cause you don’t like the stock color very much. Not sure where you live but i see it all the time. I can’t even begin to explain how many damn 85-95 civics down here are painted EPB.

i wasn’t saying paint it white cause there are other kinds of cars that are blue… not sure where you read that into it.

Thanks for all the input guys! still deciding :argh:

Sorry man this is a stupid thing to argue about. I like the blue cause thats what color my teg came stock with and its my favorite. I see what you mean though about changing the color to be different as opposed to a stock color though.

definitely a stupid thing to argue about. thats why i’m trying not to argue…i think its just a sort of misunderstanding of what each of us are trying to say.

you like the blue cause its the color your teg came stock? thats not true, tegs didn’t come in EPB. If you’ve got a 92-93 teg and its blue then its Captiva Blue Pearl…which like i’ve already stated a couple times is a gorgeous color, and by far my favorite honda blue.

sorry all i didnt mean to start anything…its just that blue seems to be the rage now and EVERYONE is doing it, its a great color, i love it, but i prefer the white, … hey how about kandy pepto bismol pink!!! :gay: :vomit: :vomit: :vomit: then youd be really cool j/k

repaint it your stock color, but if you really want to paint it then paint it frost white!
