is it best to buy the fenders with the side marker holes or make the holes urself?
at the end of the day its just a hole…
if you do get the JDM fenders, 1) they’re not cheap, 2) your paint probably wont match so you’ll probably have to end up repainting anyways.
Unless the fender with hole included is the same price as the fender without hole, then yes by all means, buy it… if not, just drill the hole… much cheaper alternative.
shit, if you were in cali, buy me a set of sidemarkers and i’ll cut the damn hole for you…haha
It’s not the easiest job in the world, but it’s doable. I did it w/ the help of a friend & the template off of teg tips.

I used a dremel w/ a metal cutting wheel. Where’d you get the idea to drill it? I don’t think that’d work, especially considering you need a straight edge on each side (& a little step down on one side. You’ll see.) to make the marker fit.

Tilegend is right, the’re not cheap. It’s like $230 + shipping for them from PasswordJDM. Then you can add $20.00 for the wiring harnesses, & $20.00 more for both markers. The markers are cheaper, but that’s it.

Oh when I did mine, I didn’t have a dremel so I used a small drill bit to drill the shape of the sidemarker then after that, I used tin snips to snip the rest… yeah sounds kinda ghetto but it works lol
Oh no, it seems like it’d be fine the way you mentioned it, just not the optimum
method to use. hope the snips were sharp, so your metal didn’t bend.

I recently just brought a pair of PW:JDM fenders w/ side markers. Even though it was pricey, I needed fenders. Quality was good, but in the end, if I had the time and tool. I could of made a hole to fit side markers into my oem fender.
So are they new reprints, or just re-primed black used ones?
They have fenders for everything now, so I’ve been curious about that. Might not really be too expensive if you’re getting Brand new fenders, w/ pre-cut holes.

They were new and already primer plus pre-cut.
Thats not too bad then. If I needed them, I’d probably get’em, just cause I mean shit, they’re brand new. I would wanna look into some others though, just to compare prices.

wow didnt even realize they had new ones… i thought they just had used ones because i found the used ones once on their website for about the same price… i thought it was rediculous for a hole.
At first, I was going to buy used fenders w/ side markers from them. But they called me and told me that the used fender was pretty bang up, so they offer me new fenders. Now, I believe that they don’t sell used fender anymore
