anyway after a year there i got stationed at fort bliss in El Paso… waited till tax time and snatched a decent da off of craigslist.

picked this guy up the same night for $100 dope!
first thing i did was give it a quick wash
then i bleached the tails to get those pink lines out
^that drill in the bottom right is the best $20 ever spent btw
bought a wink for it since i found out you can get them at o’reillys for like $30
drove with it, hated it, then i sold it a week later for $20… it sold in 3 hours on craigslist lol
the current exhaust setup was so high speed i had to change it (someone replaced the muffler with piping… :down:)
so i ordered a stocker from autopartswarehouse for $100 shipped
if i kept this setup forever… it would be alright… would like to center it though
just the slightest buzz of air sound, love it
i was looking for a 90-91 oem lip for awhile till i found out an accord lip looks decent on it so i picked one up
while i bend…
mix them half and half^ its amazing… pretty much any porter with that berry weiss is delicious

only painted the mudflaps and rear molding so far… it gets too damn windy here in el paso and i dont have a garage so i make do
then i found someone with some power mirrors so i picked them up and repainted em.
turned out the pass side was broke but the guy i sold the spoon replicas too had one so win win.
the same guy wanted to trade tails so sure!

saving up for some f&f type 1s cause these skunk2 lowering springs just arent low enough… so… updates in the future! like i said its a slow build thread (im an infantryman in the army so i dont make that much that they dont take right back) but im keeping her clean, just want a low and slow daily.
was a good day, that trim paint i bought was good stuff, and my bay still looks good even after my inlet broke and sprayed antifreeze all over under my hood…just sad that i wont be driving the db1 much longer, but the evo has been neglected for a year…but we will def still have work on car days since u have a driveway and i dont lol…wanna hit the cruise tomorrow night?
as of now im saving for full coilovers so i can drop it more
