I have a 91 civic hatch back other then my integra… i curently have a sir motor in it and i was wondering what i would have to do to put an ls engine into it … if anything at all … if anyone could help me out that would be great… i blew the head on the sir and i have a spair ls engine laying around… thanks alot … DUSTIN
If you use an SI wiring harness and stay with OBD-0 then I think you only have to swap a few (if at all) pins where the factory harness plugs into the ECU. You will also need a OBD-0 LS ECU and distributer.
These guys can help you out a lot more than we can, and if you bought a HASPORT kit, that guy belongs to the board also, so I’m sure he will help out.
Good luck, putting the header on will be the hardest part, but if you did the first swap yourself you know that.
i got all that stuff from my other swap and the ls that i have is compleate… ya i know all about that header stuff … actualy i feel that this motor was easier to take out then the ls was to take out of the integra… well thanks… DUSTIN
