skunk 2 cam gears

i got a set of skunk 2 cams gears from a buddy. i searched the subject and found out that it really makes no performance difference on stock cam gears, but my question is this. will there be any adverse affects if i install them? they look really good on the engines i have seen them on. should i go through the trouble of installing these or just not bother?

in case the answer is “put them on” should i use locktite on the adjuster bolts when i set them. TIA for any help!

if u want to go through the trouble go ahead and install them. if not sell them to me. lol. no put in all seriousness. are u just running a stock motor? are u going to do any serious power upgrades. if not then just get rid of them. or keep them for the looks. its ur choice, and yes use some locktite.
