I was wondering why someone leave out the pcv valve. I 92 Gsr and I bought I with a skunk 2 manifold and when I took it a shop and they told me that. I need some help

alot of the times when removing the IM the little hose that goes from the breather box on the back of the motor up to the IM gets hard and brittle and cracks with even the slightest touch. instead of replaceing that hose some people will put the PCV directly into the breather box and just run a piece of hose from it directly up to the IM.
