skunk2 manifold on b18b vs b18a head

Im wanting to get the skunk2 IM for my turbo setup, the only question is, would it b less workto port match a b1 head or a A1 to the IM. I have a b18a1 head now and i want to match it to the S2 IM but if the b18b is better and i dont have to do all that due to the head being better flow wise than the a1, what would be worth doing to get the best performance out of the IM. Would i even need to port match the b1 head with the s2 IM at all, due to the flow being better anyway?

i COULD be wrong, but i think the only thing that changed in the head from the a1 to b1 was the cams. so i dont reallt think it would matter which you would use. i would imagine that you wouldnt be keeping the stock cams for your turbo set up…

They will both need port-matched.

Both will require the same amount of work and money.

The main difference in the A1 and B1 head is the cams and manifold.

both are right , cams and manifold are the only thing that seperate the a1 and b1 ENGINE

I didn’t even know they had a difrence on intake manifold now I know

aside from whats said above the c
quality on the cast is better on the newer head
