hi i’m looking at getting coilovers on my car. I’m trying to decide between the skunk2 pro coilovers that i can get for 450 on honda tech brand new, or omni power coilovers…
I heard skunk2’s were garbage so i’m not sure if i want those, but the omni powers are alot more expensive. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
I have skunk2 full coilovers. I love them, and for the price I got them for I can’t be happier. I belive that the spring rate is 8k-front and 6k-rear. So I think they are a little softer then the omni’s. Anyway, I love my skunk2’s. It made my car 6,000 times more fun to drive. So I would recommend them.
I also have skunk2’s. They suck if your first concern is ride…which the skunks will make harsher. Most noticeable on bad freeways, the ride can get painful.
But when you take a curve, especially a fast curve, the skunks just don’t lean! Very flat cornering attitude. I live in an area with broken up streets, so I have the coilovers set to max ride height.
