Slim Fan + Half Rad Questions

Hey guys i have a 91 GS with the B18a1, im looking to clean up the bay once i get it on the road, after my rocker panels are re-done. I plan to rid the car of A/C (please dont ask why, i have a daily EJ sedan with all options) , Cruise Control, Washerfluid, and a Battery Relocation… I also wanna swap the full size radiator to a half size dual core… i Also want to get a slim fan but heres my question… Can i put the Slim Fan on the side facing the front bumper, and not the engine? has anyone ever done that? i got the idea from my buddy doing it on his Gti… i dont think i would have any issues with space , if the AC is going to be removed , and that AC radiator wouldnt be there,

Thankss!!

The AC Condenser is not near as thick as an aftermarket dual core radiator will be… I don’t think there will be enough room.

There are companies out there that make “tucked” radiators for Hondas. Try researching that option. AllInFab is one company that comes to mind.

Yes ALLINFAB does have them for around 425$$ same with Rywire , and Chase Bays has one for 399$, they sit alot lower and require an inline filler and some modification and trimming, im just wondering if i put a 1/2 Size Dual core radiator in place of my full size, can i put a slim fan on the back of it so the fan is not visible in the engine bay, sorry if i wasnt clear enough.

Yes u can. Just make sure the fan is big enough n u wire the fan to “push” rather than “pull” the air.
