is there any slim fan with shroud than can be bolted up to only the passenger side??
I got a fluidyne rad and only has stock mounting points at the passenger side, so i cant really put a dual fan w/ single shroud setup…
if not, i was wondering if the civic applications would fit such as the FAL??
thnks
You can use long zipties to tie it down on the rad. I have a universal slim fan I mounted by putting the zipties through and around the radiatores fins.
I ordered these Mishimoto parts for my 90’ LS. The only difference I noticed was that the AC works way better when Idling in traffic on hot days. It was easy to install and inexpensive. It also seems to work great, I’m happy with it.
here is a pic that shows the zipties on the top of the radiator just to gie you an idea of how to loop the ties. I also bought a small 6" rubber hose and sliced it all the way down the 6", then cut 4 peices and just slipped the rubber peices around the stock metal fan shroud so it doesnt touch the radiator water fins.
You can do it that way, which might be better, but I put a tie through the Radiator and a plastic washer I made from a coolent bottle. Then used another tie’s “zip” part to hold it in place. You never see the ties. I had to improvise a replacment for a broken tie that came with my fan. This is pertty much the same as the hardware you would get if your fan came with it!
Custom made one for my car after the zip ties failed. Smelled some burning plastic after some country road fun and the zip ties that go through the radiator had broke allowing the top part of my slim fan to lean and melt against my Toda Header. The thin aluminum brackets I made fixed the problem.

did you make that out of sheet metal? the plastic ties i used also broke
Fan is a Spal Fan. I made the bracket (upper and lower) out of sheet aluminum. I first bent it, then cut it, then finished up by drilling the holes in the right locations and polishing it. We have metal shop at my work
