Anyone having problems passing smog? My car has 198,000 miles, took it to get smogged and it failed. Any advice as to what I need to do before I get it tested again? I already changed the spark plug, wires, oil, oil filter. It has a stock air-intake and a Greddy exhaust. I hope it’s not the catalytic converter.
Made sure she was nice and warm?
Maybe throw in an additive?
Is the cat rattling?
The smog guy told me that it could be the Catalytic Converter…because the previous owner only put an anftermarket one and the smog guy said that they dont really last that long. He recommended to just buy another aftermarket one. What do you guys think?
