So a few questions for the pros? No start no spark????

So I got a pmr swap odb0 harness with the rywire kit to convert to odb1 so now I have run into a few dif issues

Here’s a lil info so the car sat for 3 years got new everything haven’t started it yet trying to get it running not Shure if you guys are thinking the same as me I’m thinking its the distributor or Ecu honestly so I cranked it got a brand new optima battery and three gallons of gas stock injectors and at the moment I have a odb0 b16 Ecu that’s chipped with spoon and a odb1 p72 Ecu so I’m attempting this on both ecus

1st issue) the rywire distributor jumper harness was backwards so the pins needed to be swapped out and reversed so basically there was no volts at the ignition coil, swapped that 12 volts at the coil cool glad I happen to see that so besides that being backwards I had a gas leak from the fuel pressure regulator so fuel pump is working fine and needed a new o ring in there swapped that bam no more leaks I’m getting gas power just no spark???

2nd issue) idk if my ecus or distributors work because I got them used of cl, so I tried with both have not attempted to switch distributors yet! waiting to get spark at the end of the spark plug wires there brand new ngk Vtec spark plug wires and iridium spark plugs

3rd issue) there is no spark! NO SPARK REACHING THE END OF THE SPARK PLUGS WHEN THERE IS 12 volts at the ignition coil?

So my guess is distributor swap it with a new odb1 maybe or a dif Ecu both ecus did the same thing timing is on motor was built professionally and everything is wired up right pretty Shure grounded right only issues are the spark
ANY IDEAS GUYS???

I had the same issues after doing my swap and obd conversion. For me it turned out to be first the ignition coil (inside ). then I broke down again and turned out to be the cap and rotor. In the end I should have gone with a known good distributor, but it works fine now. I pulled the cap off and inspected the contact points. You can also run a test on the ignition coil, the guy at oreilly did it for me. Anyway I am no expert, sounds like you are on the right track. Hope you get it running!

Process of elimination has led to me this issue j might just buy a new distributor anyways and call it a day because I Think that is my issue new sparks n plug wires lead me to believe that

I figured it out and it ended up being that when then pins were wired in wrong on the rywire jumper harness I ended up frying my ignition coil so swapped the to odb0 Vtec and swapped the Ecu and she turned over!

Thanks guys
