I am wondering if that is a good deal, or if i should hit up a local muffler shop and just get something welded on.
I’m a little leery about getting a new can welded on because the one that was on it was clearly welded on and it eventually rusted through and fell off. but, i may need more than just the axle back anyway because im not sure what the condition of the pipe is up near the catalytic converter. (think i may hear a hole)
it is obviously not sitting right under the car either.
one of the rubber things fell off the hanger, i noticed it in the picture.
it was a pain to get back on, very tight fit… dont see how it could have fallen off in the first place but the other sides rubber is missing too.
thats why it was hanging crooked. otherwise it looks solid up to the broken piece.
I’ve actually been thinking of getting something like this and then just getting a local shop to put in a good resonator and muffler. So essentially using it for the piping.
You should buy it and then tell me if it hangs ok. :hmm:
Well i got a flowmaster cat back exhaust and took it to meinike(SP?) and they took what was left of the old one and put the new one on for 70 bucks. Did a real good job on it too.
Forgot what i paid for the muffler. Can just google it.
aftermarket is risky because some states have rcw’s against aftermarket modifications, but id do a magniflow muffler, thats what i have and it sounds nice
