some blue smoke on crossover?

anyone have this happen to them when they hit VTEC, mine spits out a little blue smoke when it hits, normal or no?

i think the blue smoke mite be tat ur burning coolant… if wrong someone correct me… not too sure

blue is oil. i know that it happens to quite a few kids around here when they try to show off their VTAK. I don’t think its normal. i’d understand if it was black but not blue. maybe your valves seep in oil at crossover or your rings are wearing?

lol yea i just found out from another post… my bad… and imo it’s not vtec, its weak-TEC…

its not the rings, compression is 180+ across the board.

You either:

A. Don’t have VTEC and have never driven a car with DOHC VTEC
or
B. Are too broke/stubborn to get a VTEC engine, therefore hate on it

OP: If it’s a LITTLE bit of blue smoke, you’re OK. Too much blue smoke (oil) would mean you’re getting blow by or have bad valve seals. If your compression checks out fine, I would lean toward the valve seals.

dont valve seals usually only leak on start up, thats my experience anyway

what is the black smoke case then?

too much fuel or carbon
