some pics...

I want that garage, personally. heh plenty of working room, omgomgomg hehe

VEERRY nice ride! super clean. i like it a lot!

2 questions for you:

  1. What suspension setup are you running?
  2. What wheels and what size?

Thanks for the compliments…I like Battlecat’s DA as well. He’s got a great setup as well, VERY clean. And I WILL fix the image station problem. Sorry about that.

I sold the RNR’s along time ago, and the current wheels are gunmetal TE-37s in 15x7, on Kumho rubber. 4.2kgs per wheel. The Kumho rubber is heavy, though.

The steering wheel is a Sparco RAC, and I do usually drive with it attached to the steering column.

Suspension is APEXi WorldSport dampers.

MAN! Thats crazy… where on earth did you get those things… I didn’t even know they existed…

Hey CreepingDeath… could you get some pics of the dampers PLEASE!!!

I am in Envy World right now… be back when I catch my breath…

I’m curious about the hoses too. Where’d you get them from?

As always, beautiful car and great garage too.

Hey Jerold!

What’s going on. I like the seat…very classy. I bought Pete’s GSR, you know the red one? In any case, I sold the black one with a blown head gasket. I miss that one so bad, pure JDM DA6! Well, I had Pete’s GSR for a week and threw a rod. Blown B17A! So my current setup is a B16A and I’m stuck with a B17 block with cracked sidewalls and cracked piston #3. Also, I still have the B17 head that I will be doing work to (EX: GUDE Cams, ITR valve springs, Skunk2 tit. retainers.) Just wanted to fill you in on my situation because you always fill in with yours! I’ll get pics soon.

Jarrold…

Looking good as always. Your car consistently looks better every time I see it. Super Clean.

RacerBoy, nice to hear from you. We miss the NY scene some, I have yet to meet any DA guys out here. Northeast G2IC members are a great bunch of guys.

The ThermalFlex hoses, same as Samco, are silicone and nomex lined. With my previous overheating problem I have become maybe overly sensitive to overheating/cooling issues. But since the car hits the roadcourses and revs to 9400rpms temperatures become important. It’s not a glamorous mod but a very effective one. And they look real nice…(Fluidyne rad and oil catch can may be next)

Battlecat, thanks again for the kind words. Talk about clean!

hella nice

Creepingdeath, how does the B16 run for you? Do you get annoyed by the lack of torque that it has? I’d like to meet up with you to discuss a possible meet in the near future.

what hub adaptor did you use with that steering wheel? Been looking for one that detaches for the DA but can’t seem to find one. Thanks!

lookin tight as always
your ride is my inspiration!

I got the same question.

And creepindeath you have one very very nice DA on your hands. Keep her clean. I’m really liking the clean look know

ahh…

it seems we have the same issues. the fluidyne fixed almost all of my overheating issues, it even kept the car cool when the ECT switches kept dying and not turning on the fans.
Also, which style coolant temp sensor are you using? The newer style that threads into the thermostat housing are worthless. The older non obd style that threads into the back of hte block are much more sturdy, I have yet to have one of those die.

OMG!!! 9400 rpmsssssssss :inlove:

hey i called you but you cell was disconnected did you move back

Battlecat - I’m using the non-OBD style, no problems.

As far as my B16A, the head has been rebuilt with a mild p&p, milled(10.9:1), and cc’d combustion chambers. CTR/ITR cam combo, ITR valvetrain with competition multiangle valve job. For a 1st gen head, she’s something else. The Haltech E6S is the secret to getting her to run so well. I’m not ever going to be a torque monster, it’s not the engines strong point. So we tune it to its strengths. We tune for great midrange and top end, toss in an early VTEC crossover (3200rpms on the race program, 4600rpms on the daily driver program), and rev her high. I have no complaints whatsoever.

The pop-off system is by Bricknell Racing Products. Excellent mod. First for the obvious security benefits, and now necesary since ingress/egress from the car with the Sparco bucket would be impossible with the wheel permanently attached.

I’ll post more pics in a bit.
