ok… the other day i started to drive my integra and it was acting normal until i finally punched the gas pedal… right when i did that in first gear it acted as if i was hitting a rev limit… the tach bounced from like 4 to 3 then to 5 back down to 4… it did this in all the gears… it drives perfectly fine normal… i can rev it all the way up to red line normally if i don’t floor it… my only guess is it needs a new fuel filter?
the car has about 149,xxx miles on it… i have no clue what else it could be… any suggestions?
thanks

it could be a lot of things, seems like your clutch is giving up on you though
friend suggested it was a blown head gasket…
Sounds like your clutch or that you are leaning out. Could possibly be your injectors not being able to keep up with fuel demand causing you to run lean.
you sound like your describing a lean condition . if you nail it does it just buck ? also the tach did it just erratically jump around ?
Try doing the “fixing bouncing tach” teg tip. I had a similar problem a while back but it wasn’t as bad. And hey, if it doesn work, you only wasted about $2.80.
