I replaced all 4 old springs with new H&Rs because my front-left side spring was broken.
( i only replaced the springs and nothing else)
The same day i went on a long trip to NYC (about 350miles from my place)
After i got there the roads were bad there and it really shook my car. (although i enjoyed the ride with new H&Rs)
But now after 2 days I hear some strange noise from the rear side whenever i hit a bump. I sounds like as if something is lose.
I dont undestand what the problem is. I already paid a lot of money for springs and to replace them ( 160 for springs and ****in 180 for replacing all 4) labor turned out to be more than the cost of the springs.
Its really driving me crazy. I cant sleep at night!
How can i fix the this wierd sound problem. do i need to replace anything else? strut mount? wheel balance?
or do i need to check for anything lose?
I never had this problem before while on stock springs. Its only after replacing with new springs and after driving on bad nyc roads.
I sprayed lithium greese everywhere on the entire suspension. still doesnt help.
Please give me advise so that i dont get ripped off again by paying hundreds to fix this problem.
