    I’m using a stupid ass champion spark plug, anyways i’m checking to see what condition they are in so i’m trying to take it out and BAM the spark plug seperates from the thread. The spark plug thread is stuck in the head!!! WHAT DO I DO? If I contact champion do you think they will cover the cost to fix it?
first of all, shouldnt use champion spark plugs anyway, we use that brand for our lawnmower, definately dont get bosch either, stick with NGK, but i dont think champion will cover that, its not really there fault, you probably torqued it down to hard, just take it to your local mechanic
I didnt over tighten it. Thats the stupid part. So will I need to take the head off? or is there something else?
Dam that sucks dude!! I’d take it too a mechanic if i were you… but i don’t know how you’re gonna drive it…
Champion is made in USA… NGK is made in Japan… I’d stick w/ NGK next time…
You might get away with jamming a flathead screwdriver into the broken spark plug. Hammer it in somehow with a (you guessed it) hammer, then unscrew it with the screwdriver. Just try not to damage anything but the spark plug.

Yeah I already tried the screw driver idea, didnt work, its hella tight in there. I started my car its like driving a tractor lol, i would drive it if I had my stock hood but I have carbon fiber.
Hmmmm…you might want to consult professional advise on what I’m about to say, but here goes…
When I busted my control arm bolt while doing my suspension, my friend and I tried a reverse thread screw of some type. You basically drill a hole, then insert the screw thread thingy counterclockwise. Because, the screw thread thingy is reversed, it will sink in to the drill hole you just made and hopefully, while you’re screwing it in, you’ll start unthreading the actual spark plug.
Again, consult with someone first. That’s what my friend and I did. It didn’t work, but that’s because the bolt ended up being completely seized and became part of the control arm!
In your case, hopefully this hasn’t happened yet. But next time, use anti-seize:p BTW, If you didn’t use anti-seize you might not be able to file a law suit against Champion.

Oz
