Spark plug order from distributor to engine

Hi guys. I recently had a guy remove all of my spark plug wires and put them back on, a long story short I think he has them out of order is there a picture with tips somewhere on which wire goes to what cylinder it doesnt just go around the distributor in order does it? I head the firing order is 1-3-4-2 do the wires do the same thing from the distributor? Thanks in advance.

The distributor is in the same order as the firing order(1,3,4,2) going counter-clockwise with 1 being the bottom left plug.

ex:
3 4
1 2

(if looking at it straight on)

yup firing order is 1,3,4,2 hope that helps

distrubitor
3 4
1 2

 engine

4 3 2 1

front of car

Graphical version:

The graphic above is incorrect. As stated before, the firing order form the distributor is:

3 4
1 2

dont see how it is incorrect.
think you are looking at the graphic wrong.

AHHH…

The original graphic looked as if #1 was at top left. Makes sense flipped vertically. I think that could confuse people though if they just saw the image horizontally.

indeed.

confused my wife too, untill i drew it on a piece of paper and folded it so it looked right.

check this out …u guys mean like this right??

i think someone needs to take a picture of an engine, standing over the passenger side fender looking at the distrib like its a clock.

and mark the thing up all clear and everything.
