Should I put ANTI SIEZE on the plugs?
what if they are not exactly gapped to spec
what if one of the little platinum heads top broke off??
thanks

Anti-seize isn’t necessary on spark plugs, unless you don’t plan to change them for several years, then they’ll rust in there. NGK’s are already gapped for Honda engines. Don’t use Platinum plugs in a non-VTEC engine.

Why not platinum plugs? just curious.
The ones I havein their are the GPOWER (platinum)
guy said they would be fine
Also do they need to be perfectly torgued?
you should always check the gap, they are not all pre-gapped. shipping and handling can mess up the gap. you can torque it or you can just hand tighten it. the instructions are on back of the ngk box.
when he says don’t use “platinum” it’s cause there is no need in a non-vtec engine. just waste of money.
and i would always recommend torquing them to spec. takes 2 seconds.
I read once in a Popular Mechanics’ tip section that if you don’t happen to have anti-seize compound lying around, you can use regular motor oil… the trick is to put a little NEW oil on your fingertips, and wipe VERY LITTLE on the threads before screwing them in. I tried it, and it’s been really easy changing or cleaning my plugs… little tidbit there.

Please don’t post the same questions twice.
