Spark plug wires popping up....

Ive been searching online and have found no definite answer…

So I recently replaced my MSD super conductors for a set of NGK V-power wires and if I drive hard I can feel a difference when I let off the throttle. The car kinda jumps/sputters… Kinda like a backfire and I know somethings up.

When I pop the hood the spark plug wires are sticking up out of the valve cover… All four. Sometimes it’s just a bit, about .25" or so and once they’ve popped out about 3/4". If I push them back down it’s fine… No oil in the cavities or no other problems like that… Why is this happening?

wrong wires?

Sounds like u may have a pcv issue. That normally happens when there’s too much pressure building up in the crankcase and its escaping through the spark plug tube seals and as a result the wires get blown off. May also be incorrectly torqued plugs causing combustion to leak through.
