I saw an article in the VTEC motorsport magazine (Japanese publication) that pertained to a trick with spark plugs. I’m not sure how it works but the article’s picture showed them modifying the spark plug to provide a greater spark surface. Sorry for my terminology, I’m not a guru. Anyhow, what they did was take a metal file and flatten the otherwise round surface of the plug. I’ll try to post some pics of the article if that would help any. Otherwise, anyone know what I’m talking about?
Re: Spark Plugs…anyone tried this?

i wouldnt screw with it. stick with ngk and youll be fine. besides, a flat surface has less surface area than a rounded one of the same diameter. when looking at the profile view, think of the pythagorean theorem- the hypoteneuse (flattened side) is always less than the sum of the two other sides /_\
Math Sucks.
Or I’m just bad at it. Makes sense though.
