I’ve heard really good reviews about SPEC brand clutches. Highly recommended in the MR2 & 240sx forums. I was wondering if there was any good feedback for the Gen 2’s. Im aiming for a SPEC Stage 2+ clutch.

Man! It seems no one really has any real experience w/ this product. I heard and read extremely good reviews about this clutch and I am planning to get a SPEC stage 2 kit pretty soon. I’ll post my experiences on this thread once I get my hands on one. Thanks anyway guys! :manual:
My friend has 1.Not sure if its the top of the line clutch but it felt pretty good.he also got it with a lifetime warranty.
My dad and uncle both have spec clutches in there mustangs. Dads has been going for around 2 years and my uncles around 1 year with no problems. On www.corral.net (mustang site) its the number one rated basic clutch for street driving. You could search on there to get opinions on them as alot of people on that site have them.
thanx guys for ur input. i’m leaing towards buying the clucth with a flywheel by the end of the month. hopefully it’ll be better than the clutchnet stage 3 clucth i had b4. thanx guys again for ur say 
i heard bad things but only on boosted cars. i was about to purchase one as well but someone talked mye out of it. let me know how it works out
well i decided that i wouldnt get the SPEC clutch since i would have to wait for shipping and i needed a clutch really bad since the clutch was burned already so i decided to get clutchnet’s stage 3 clutch kit…im breaking it in as of right now…then we’ll see how it really performs
is your motor modded? if so is it a mild setup?
I rode along in a boosted hatch, on a 2-3 shift the plate broke into pieces? Did not have high milage, was grabbing awesome and then completely failed. Only time I ever heard of bad shit happening to them. :shrug:
i didnt do that much mods to it…just intake, headers and a port and polish
I have a SPEC clutch in my DA…Stage 3.
I have a lightly built LS/VTEC w/ a busted azz YS1 and run low 14’s on slicks.
This clutch has held up to many burnouts and very very hard shifts.
