spectra radiator w/lifetime warranty from autozone

anybody bought one, I did and I had to replace it when I hit a pot hole…Now I might have to replace my 2nd one I just got. I didn’t hit nothing this time, it was just the driveway from pizza hut that scraped the bottom of the front. I think these radiators suck…anybody else have probs with these. whats a good radiator that won’t break.

try an aftermarket like Mishimoto, if you shop around you could find one fore $160 now days they run like $220.

i’ve already replaced it with the same radiator since i had lifetime warranty. how does the mishimoto work, does it flow better.

i bought a aluminum ebay radiator for 130 shipped over a year ago and i love it.

+1 on the aluminum ebay radiator. I bought the CXracing one and never had a problem. Fitment was excellent and they sell the combo with slim fans for under $200 sometimes.

Ok. The spectre radiator crapped on me again this morning. Must have been from last night going 80-90 on the freeway. I didnt hit anything hard. My car is lowered on tokico blues and eBay lowering springs in the front and eibachs in the back. This is my 3rd radiator from spectre at autozone. I’m guess I’ll just take this one back and exchange it but don’t use it. Imma sell it and get me a eBay cx rad. Thanks

“Didn’t hit anything hard”?

Soooooo, you did hit something though? I mean it sounds like you’ve gone through a lot of radiators, but if you’re hitting shit, you can’t really blame the radiator…

Aluminum ones are usually pretty strong though, they flow well, and they look tight… Just don’t hit things with your car and it will probably last a long time.

Yeah. I actually did hit about almost 2 weeks ago but it wasn’t that hard as the 1st time which caused it to break. See the 1st it was the drain plug which was messed up. I bought another plug which it didn’t help. The 2nd time it had a hole in the radiator on the metal part. I think the fan messed it u that time. I go through ruff roads on a dirt road sometimes to do some errands and there’s alot of pot holes
