I need to finally replace my speedometer cable. But when I called up Napa, they said that they didn’t have a listing for the 90 Integra. They said it stopped at 89. Will this cable work in our cars? Or am I going to have to go to a dealer for it?
Unfortunately I live in a small town, so there is no Kragens or Autozone nearby. But I will try one of the other parts shops like Schucks. I really don’t want to go through the dealer since I will probably have to pay double for it.
no…the 89 cable is not too short, it is actually longer by 4 or 5inches and will work perfectly. i have one on mine from a local junk yard because mine snap right before the cluster. a civic one from the 88-91 will work also. any year teg from 87 up will work through 93 i belive. just go to a local junk and pick it up for like 4 or 5 bucks. dealer will straight up jack you on this and will charge you enough to get 10 or 20 of these cables from the junk…just try a local junk and get one from the 1stgen tegs, belive me on this, it will work. good luck…
