spoiler holes in rear trunk.

hey guy’s When i removed my spoiler off my car. I had 2 holes that were made i ddint yet fix them to prevent water from comin in so past 5 monhts it barely rained. But when it did rain got in the holes. Now can i just get plugs to prevent water from comin in? B4 i get my car painted. If so where do i purchase these and what are they called thanks guys for any support. ciao brett

they’re just called plugs i guess, not really sure. i know they sell them at home depot though. u just gotta find the right size plugs to fit the hole. they’re pretty cheap like 40cents each or something. just go to home depot to look for them, they should be around the nails/screws area. good luck.

yeah, i’m thinkin of removing my spoiler too, but my car won’t be painted till probably next summer. when you do this, tell me what size plug you use, how well it works etc. i’d reall like to know cuz i just dont like my spoiler. also, is it possible to do the same with the antenna, my antenna never worked (automatic antenna) so i just unhooked it, it doesn’t go all the way down either, it just sits up like 6 inches. looks really retarded, has anyone removed it themselves and just plugged it? if so, how hard was it, it doesn’t seem that hard i’m just not sure how big the hole is gonna be. if anyone has pics of it removed that would help alot.

any updates etc. ? or does anyone know the answers to my ???'s thanks.

The guy i bought my car from got some plumbers putty or somehting of that nature and filled in the holes (there were 4), it kinda looks shitty…but it’s heald up for almost 2 years. those plugs 91blackGS talked about sound like the best bet tho.

yeah i was hoping he would reply to my question, cuz if i knew what size plugs to get, i’d remove the spoiler. i’d paint the plugs to color match with my car, i’ve got a little paint that is the exact same color as my car, same paint code and everything, ELECTRON BLUE PEARL. i’ll just sand the plugs down a bit, paint and clear coat them and put them in the holes. i’d probably sand the top of them down just a bit so they don’t stick up too much. a little less noticeable kinda.

:bump: any updates? :bump:
